PioCreat Ceramic Crown Resin
Indicated for permanent and temporary single units (crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers) and bridges, and denture teeth.
PioCreat Ceramic Crown is a 3D-printable hybrid nanoceramic resin containing approximately 51% inorganic ceramic filler dispersed within a resin matrix.
What this means clinically:
- 51% ceramic filler provides hardness, wear resistance, radiopacity, and improved strength compared with conventional composite resins.
- The remaining portion is a photopolymer resin matrix, which allows the material to be printed using LCD/DLP 3D printers and then post-cured.
- It is therefore a ceramic-filled resin, not a fully ceramic restoration. It behaves more like a highly filled CAD/CAM composite or hybrid ceramic than like zirconia or lithium disilicate.
Post-cure properties include:
-
- Flexural strength:110–140 MPa
- Flexural modulus:6–7 GPa
- Shore D hardness:93–95
- Tensile strength:70–80 MPa
- Heat deflection temperature:100–110°C
